Recently I purchased a ‘94 Delica Exceed from Preferred
Autos via Michael’s salesmanship. Throughout the short
process he was very helpful and easy to work with - communicating
frequently before and after purchase with any necessary information.
I had found the Delica on the internet where I saw some pictures
of it but otherwise purchased it sight unseen. They shipped
it down to me promptly where I was quite thankful to see it
basically as I expected it to be. Considering I had not seen
the vehicle, there were a couple of cosmetic things that should
have been taken care of prior to shipping. Yet they were quick
to rectify them once they were pointed out.
All together a very simple and smooth process.

Peter and colleagues,
I just thought that I would give some feedback in relation to
my thoughts on my recently purchased Estima.
Despite arriving with a few parts that went
missing along the way, along with the owners manual which
I really need to get hold of, the vehicle arrived as scheduled
into Burnie via Brambles. On that morning, I was nervous with
anticipation, following two failed attempt to buy a GLS Tarago
interstate, as they are as scarce as hens teeth down in Tassie.
That is when I discovered that the Estima's specifications,
more than met my needs.
A quick once around, and my worst fears had
vanished. Despite a repaired door being a slightly different
shade, which I will probably fix for a few hundred dollars,
it quickly became obvious that the vehicle straight. I had
mentioned that I demanded a vehicle that I would be proud
to own, and that I am very fussy when it comes to the interior.
In this instance, I was very impressed with the vehicle. The
seat support quality gets comments form everyone, and there
is barely a mark anywhere. The carpet quality is superior
to that in a Tarago and these were almost like new.
My first impressions on performance were,
that it was probably less powerful than a Tarago. However,
since getting the transmission serviced, which I doubt had
ever happened, and adding two tanks of injector clean, the
Estima is running smoother and giving good performance. The
fuel economy is excellent. There is an art in getting the
best performance from the little diesel, but once mastered
it is an absolute treat to drive.
My main appreciation though, is the support
I received from you staff in dealing with any queries that
I had. At no time was I treated as if I was a nuisance. To
the contrary, it almost seemed as if they were glad to here
how it was all going. Either the team are very good actors,
or they believe in the products they sell. I would like to
pay particular thanks to Pete (I think) for helping me with
re-registering the vehicle in Tassie. He provided contacts
and made calls on my behalf, so that everything went as smooth
as possible.
I have fitted 15" alloys, and with the
window tint and alloy bull bar that you arranged, the Estima
is certainly creating interest around Hobart. I will pick
the vehicle up this afternoon from the radio clinic, where
they did a first class job in fitting a DVD/CD with a roof
mounted screen and remote head sets. If you want I will email
some photo's of the finished product.
My final point is that you had no hesitation
in provided me with a contact with other Estima owners. I
have formed a good rapport with others, who are only to pleased
to assist in giving tips to ensure my Estima remains trouble
free. It is like being part of an exclusive club where useful
ideas can be exchanged.
